Dancing Together Policy

The aim of the 'Dancing Together' policy is to ensure that everyone at DJam feels safe and can enjoy the event.

Please look after yourself and each other. If you feel unwell or notice that someone seems to be unwell, please see a DJam Team member immediately. If you notice that someone is carrying out moves that are unsafe in anyway, please see a DJam Team member immediately.

Team members will be wearing a badge indicating that they are Team members.

If you are worried or concerned about the safety or wellbeing of any vulnerable person at DJam, please see Joo-Lee Stock (Tel:07719174544) or any member of the DJam Care Team at the DJam Desk.

DJam dancers have a right to enjoy dancing in a safe and enjoyable environment, with appropriate etiquette and behaviour. We reserve the right to ask any person who displays inappropriate behaviour to leave the event.

Everyone at DJam has a right to work or dance in a non-threatening environment. DJam Team reserves the right to refuse admission and/or contact with any person who displays verbal, physical and/or threatening behaviour towards our team or anyone who is a part of DJam.

DJam organisers also reserve the right to turn down registrations or refuse entry to any part of the event.

DJam organisers follow the professional code of conduct as specified by the Foundation for Community Dance and everyone who is part of DJam is expected to follow the DJam 'Dancing Together' policy.
